Charles F. Carpenter
Partner,
Certified Mediator

Charlie Carpenter has some of the most wide-ranging experience of any of the partners at Pulley Watson, having litigated commercial business cases as well as medical malpractice and personal injury cases. He has practiced law with Pulley Watson since 1998 joining the firm as a partner, after running his own firm for five years and practicing with Newsom, Graham, Hedrick, Kennon & Cheek, P.A. for 11 years. He has also authored numerous articles and prepared seminars on collection law and bankruptcy. Contractual disputes, unfair trade practices, and institutional lenders, products liability – Charlie's background, broad perspective and expertise offers benefits to the full range of clients we serve.
From the beginning, it seemed that Charlie was bound for success. As a boy, Charlie achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and was selected for the Vigil Honor in the Order of the Arrow, the Scout honor society. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with honors, and went on to receive his law degree there as well. He has never shied away from striving for excellence, making the International Who's Who of Professionals in 1995 and the list of Who's Who in American Law every year since 1990.
It may be his love of history, particularly the Revolutionary War era, or the focus and discipline he's learned from achieving a 2nd degree black belt in karate, but Charlie's detailed, insightful and well-rounded outlook on the legal process instills in our clients a sense of confidence that they've turned to the right resource for help.
