Business Testimonials

One Client's Story.

Durham architect Lucien Roughton
The Client:
Lucien Roughton is a prominent Durham architect, and has designed several premier office buildings in the Triangle area.

The Needs:
From the founding of Roughton's architectural firm in 1987, Malvern King and the Pulley Watson team have worked with him on a wide range of legal business matters, including incorporation, real estate transactions, ownership issues and financing.

In particular, Mal was called in to help Roughton develop an ownership transition plan that successfully met the disparate needs of the potential buyers, his company and himself.

The Results:
"I like working with Mal because he listens to what my goals are, and takes a practical approach to achieving them.

We do some collaborative thinking to hone the goals into a workable plan, and he can be very creative in dealing with complex issues. Mal's solutions are not only good from a financial perspective, but also from a human point of view. He has an ability to read and understand a situation, and a sense of fairness, that pleases everyone involved."
