Helping people receive fair treatment and full benefits

In the aftermath of an accident, on-the-job injury or personal loss, many people find themselves suffering a second time – when their insurance claim is denied, or inadequately reimbursed.

Pulley Watson believes that no one should be denied benefits to which he or she is rightly entitled. If you find yourself in such a situation, we'll stand with you to confront the insurance companies who are wrongfully blocking the way of a proper settlement.

The types of cases we handle include:
  • Denied insurance claims
  • Injuries to parts of the body
  • Industrial disorders and diseases such as carpal tunnel syndrome and exposure to toxic chemicals
  • Electrical injuries
  • Psychological injuries including depression and stress

Case Story 1

The Case:

Betty came to Pulley Watson in shock over her situation. She had been working for a company that had been deducting money from her paycheck each month to provide her with health insurance. It was not until she had a heart attack and underwent emergency bypass surgery that she learned the truth: the owners of the company were simply pocketing the money, and she had no medical insurance.

The Results:

Pulley Watson filed suit against the owners, and were able to subsequently negotiate a settlement for her. This settlement made it possible for Betty to have her medical expenses paid, and receive additional compensation for her mental distress.

Case Story 2

The Case:

Dan, a self-employed plumber, was driving to a job when another driver pulled out in front of him, requiring him to come to a sudden stop. Dan gripped the steering wheel so tightly he suffered a serious shoulder injury. Unfortunately, the doctor who initially treated him did not recognize the full severity of the injury. Dan had to undergo multiple surgeries as his shoulder deteriorated over time.

The Investigation:

The insurance company was not willing to accept liability for all of Dan's surgeries, claiming they were not related to the wreck, but rather the result of pre-existing arthritis. Dan's case was heard by an arbitration panel which concluded that the additional surgeries and therapies were necessary and were all related to the automobile wreck.

Unfortunately, after his first arbitration hearing, Dan was in a second car wreck, which caused an injury to his other shoulder and required him to find a new line of work.

The Results:

Pulley Watson attorneys were able to get full coverage for Dan's damages based on the maximum payment allowed by each of the insurance companies involved. This settlement covered his pain and suffering, lost wages, the cost of surgeries and treatment of permanent damages to both of his shoulders.
